Dr. Ruane received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California (USC).  Her clinical training included individual and group therapy as well as psychological and neuropsychological testing at the Veteran’s Administration (VA) Healthcare Systems in Loma Linda and Westwood, California, and the LAC+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.  Dr. Ruane has also worked at mental health clinics on Los Angeles’ Skid Row, providing psychological services to homeless men and women in residential drug and alcohol recovery programs. 

 

Dr. Ruane also served as an Adjunct Professor at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology where she taught doctoral students Personality and Advanced Assessment courses, an Introduction to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Practicum.

Dr. Ruane is a current member of The American Psychological Association (APA), California Psychological Association (CPA), and the Los Angeles County Psychological Association (LACPA). 

 

Dr. Ruane is licensed as a Clinical Psychologist by the California State Board of Psychology (PSY 25507).
