Trauma Group

This on-going group provides empathic understanding and a supportive space for members to work through and manage the residual impacts of trauma. Many who go through some form of trauma sometimes feel misunderstood, isolated, or guilty.  They may also experience shame and have difficulties trusting others.  Feelings such as these influence one’s beliefs about the world, self, and others.  They negatively impact interpersonal relationships, and may even hinder the pursuit of personal happiness.

The group is process oriented and utilizes mindfulness and grounding exercises to engage members in feeling less overwhelmed and more connected to themselves and each other.

Start date:  August, 9, 2018

Cost per session:  $40
